Deciding to upload some of my old work, I believe some of these shots which I took during a vacation to Ocean City New Jersey in the September of 2020. These shots are from a ferry ride from Cape May to Delaware, and are some of my favorites I’ve taken that year. This was my first time riding on a boat which crossed so deeply into the ocean – I remember thinking of how incredible it was to look out from the railings, and see nothing but ocean water for miles.
Our captain doubled as our bartender, and on my first round of drinks, he noticed the large camera I was hauling around with me (I had my 150-400mm equip’d at the time). He mentioned how, once we reach Delaware, that we may pass by some lighthouses just as the sun begins to set; depending on the route taken.
Needless to say, we ended up taking this route – I was lucky enough to have the sun peeking through a group of clouds, planted just above a silhouetted light-house. To this day, it’s one of my favorite, and luckiest shots.
