New York City – Architecture, Street, and Portraiture

On one’s second exploratory trip to the Big Apple, you’d expect the rose tint in their glasses to be somewhat faded, however I’ve found mine have retained their vibrancy.

On this go around, our crew met a variety of lovely people – a handful of which I had the privilege of taking their portraits, which you’ll see towards the end of this post. From the lovely communal gardens, to hidden speakeasies, you’ll never find yourself shortchanged of lovely people to meet.

Should you find yourself drifting towards the Hudson river in Manhattan, the retro-future architecture found along The High Line is not to be passed up. This was my first time walking these sky-gardens, and I couldn’t help but be enamored at the surrounding structures, and art installations along the way.

As with every visit, I’m left wanting to go back – not only because of the charm of the city, but the memories that come form exploring it with good company.
